2025 Projects
The Ontario Association of Architects’ (OAA’s) SHIFT2025 Challenge Reshaping Communities asked the profession to explore how we can develop sustainable solutions that address the challenges posed by climate change and social shifts. From urban revitalization and reconceptualization to adaptations responding to climate change and other emergencies, SHIFT2025 wanted the architecture profession to submit conceptual—but possible!—architectural ideas for our communities that enable all people to find stability, a sense of belonging, and hope.
The six selections highlighted below were chosen by a jury to represent SHIFT’s 2025 class and will be presented at the SHIFT2025 Challenge Event on May 15 at the Westin Ottawa as part of the 2025 OAA Conference. Check out the Media Release announcing the winners.
